Development of Eight Individually Designed Properties
The maze development provides a modest level of family accommodation. Each house style has been individually tailored to achieve a balance of external volumes in relation to the physical features of the site, reflecting the quality of internal living spaces in terms of size and orientation.
The emphasis to integrate with the original street appearance of the
maze dwellings and unify the new with the existing has informed the house
designs evolving and changing – form predominantly brickwork facades
to properties that are completely rendered. The transition occurs on a
progressive route from the start to the end of the development, with a
number of the centrally located properties having vertical features expressed
in render which combine to order the sequence of the material changes
