BGA Architects is a dynamic design-led architectural practice which foster an environment and design approach that invites ideas to flourish. Through internal comprehensive design and sustainability reviews they cultivate fresh thought and practice-wide ownership of their work. With experience in both the public and private sectors, they have designed and delivered a variety of projects ranging from large multi-million pound projects, to extensive and small scale re-modelling projects.
Since the formation of BGA Architects in 2010 (Formally known as Bernard Gooding Associates) BGA Architects have become a RIBA Chartered Practice and have 40 plus years’ experience in the industry and pride themselves on providing an outstanding level of service to their clients.
BGA Architects believe all projects should be designed closely with members of the design and construction team to ensure the clients brief is met. Their approach has always been to put people first - our clients, communities, end users and all stakeholders involved in the development process.
BGA Architects have become known for their ability to maximise the value of a site whilst keeping a keen eye on risk and viability. Their hands-on approach includes managing key stakeholders throughout the project, offering clear direction and driving the project forward through every stage to realise the clients vision.
BGA Architects believe first and foremost that architecture should be rooted in its particular place, responding in a meaningful way to the natural and built environment. Using local materials and partnering with the best local craftsmen, we seek to create buildings that are tactile, modern, and environmentally responsible.
BGA Architects are affiliated with the Royal Institute of British Architects and The Architects Registration Board as well are accredited with achieving ISO 9001 and 14001 certification. These internationally recognised prestigious awards are an International Standard in use worldwide as the benchmark for Quality and Environmental Management. The award recognises BGA Architects commitment to an exceptional quality of service and their commitment to the environment.
BGA Architects continue to invest in the latest technology and as a result of this investment all projects regardless of their size are now completed using the latest BIM software, making BGA Architects BIM Level 2 ready. This software has major benefits over traditional CAD software with built in clash detection and 3D capabilities. This is further enhanced with their in house 3D rendering service which enables them to communicate the projects with realistic 3D renders and animations that have the ability of real time amendments that assists them to work more closely and collaboratively with the design team and client.
Offering a complete architectural and interiors design service from inception, concept design, statutory approvals, contractor procurement, to management on-site — all the way to post completion.
