BGA Architects is a RIBA Chartered Practice based in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex. We work with private clients, developers, businesses and community organisations to design and deliver residential, commercial, development and heritage projects.
Our portfolio covers a wide range of projects, from individual homes, extensions and refurbishments through to residential developments, commercial buildings, community projects and work to historic and listed buildings.
Whatever the scale, we aim to create well-designed, practical buildings that respond to their setting and to the people who use them. We pay close attention to proportion, light, materials, detail and how each project will work in practice.
Every site and brief is different, so we take time to understand what matters most to the client and where the opportunities lie. From there, we develop a clear design approach that brings together creativity, practicality and buildability.

Our services cover all stages of the RIBA Plan of Work, from early feasibility and concept design through planning, technical design, tender and construction.
We believe the best projects come from collaboration. By working closely with our clients, consultants and contractors, we can develop well-considered solutions that respond to the brief, the site and the practical requirements of the project.
Our appointments are flexible and can be tailored to suit the level of support required. Fees are set out clearly from the outset and broken down by project stage.
